I can't tell you how glad I am that I received the '5 pack' pre and post-natal pregnancy massages.  I thought the pre natal massages were awesome, but the post natal ones were something else again.  As a new mum, its hard to do anything for yourself so being able to bring my baby with me while I received some much needed time out was a godsend.  I felt a million bucks walking out - my tension was gone and I felt supported as a mother. I'd go as far as to say that the post natal massage was even better than the pre natal ones and that is saying something.  Jo mum of baby Luca 3 months.

"The beautiful one-hour post natal massage I had from Jo a week after Noah was born really helped during that tough first couple of weeks. Jo not only has magic hands, she has a wonderfully calming presence, and the massage left me feeling far better, both physically
and emotionally. See you again soon!" Kylie Smith - Mum of baby Noah.

Hi Sam, I just wanted to write and reiterate what an AMAZING experience my massage yesterday was. I am still on cloud 9 and honestly wish I could now afford to have a massage a week. Your down to earth & friendly personality combined with your magic hands made my birthday treat a very special one. I have raved to everyone I know about how amazing it was and I can't wait to be spoilt again... dropping hints left, right and centre! Wishing you a fabulous Christmas and hope to see you again soon. Best wishes & many thanks. Vanessa Rehm

christy 1Christy Berentson studied therapeutic massage at the New Zealand College of Massage and always felt a strong interest in the area of pregnancy care. Her decision was sealed when she met Jo Hogan (owner and director of Bella Mama) and she has been happily assisting soon to be mothers in this magical time of their lives since then.

Christy holds a firm belief that the duration of pregnancy needs to involve methods of relaxation such as massage and yoga, the key aspect of good nutrition and tender loving care. Thus really helping encourage the health and bond of mother and baby on so many levels.

Christy is now studying nutrition at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies, looking to specialize in pre and post natal care for both mother and baby. She forsees this merging nicely with the path she is on at the moment with the Bella Mama team.

Jenny 1Jenny Bates has been a practicing Naturopath and Massage Therapist since graduating at Sydney’s esteemed natural therapies collage, Nature care in 2003.  Since then she has continued studying completing  pregnancy massage, shitasu massage, touch for health levels and emotional freedom technique (EFT) and has been working and specialising in allergies for over six years.
For the last 2 1/2 years since being pregnant and having a child, Jenny's focus and expertise has shifted to pregnancy, post natal support, babies and children which she finds truly fulfilling rewarding.
She has a passion and enthusiasm for helping people and sharing her knowledge especially if it involves food!   A self confessed ‘geek’ she is always attending seminars to keep up with the latest developments and building upon her massage skills. Having experienced the sheer heaven of having Bella Mama massages (and Jo’s amazing pregnancy and post natal yoga) she jumped at the chance to join the wonderful team of truly inspiring women and hopes that your massage experience with her will leave you just blissed out as she felt when she herself enjoyed them.
