A post-natal massage is the ideal way for a woman to be nurtured and supported as she recovers from her pregnancy and birth and cares for her new baby. It involves a deeply relaxing full body massage including special attention to any areas of strain and tension as well as specialist abdominal massage techniques to tone and strengthen the belly.
Following the massage treatment, a traditional spice paste is applied to the tummy and covered with a firm muslin wrap to help to tone and rehabilitate the skin over the abdominal region. A warm pack is then applied to the belly while mum receives a blissfully relaxing neck, scalp and face massage.
