Sharon Leigh Forty
BSc (Hons) Osteopathy
Sharon Leigh Forty is a British Osteopath with over 20yrs practitioner experience.
Sharon pays special attention to Osteopathy in the cranial field. This approach is a very gentle treatment to encourage the releases of stresses and strains throughout the body from head to toe, a unique holistic approach to your health care.
Sharon has a keen interest in treating crying babies with colic, feeding problems and sleep disturbances. Alleviating pain in pregnancy and post-partum care. She has developed a particular interest in Cranial work, following post-graduate training in Cranial and Paediatric Osteopathy and becoming a member of The Sutherland Cranial College. Treating and supporting women through pregnancy with related issues, the newborn baby, throughout a stage of a child’s growth in addition to the whole family is the most satisfying part of the profession.
Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who recognise the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine which facilitates healing by focusing on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit.
